i'd love to say i could be the redefinition of the phrase "cheshire cat syndrome." after all the current description sucks. but, lets face it (and by we i mean me), im just not crazy enough. i can grin broadly and make logic of illogical things all i want, but i really just lack the nonsense to change such an establishment. which is really too bad, because getting to say i had cheshire cat syndrome would be seriously kickass.
but to expand on the "im not crazy enough" bit. sometimes i start thinking "man, someday i'll paint like salvador dali and confuse everybody with my cryptic non-meanings," or "ill be just like doug tennapel and make something random in a good, intelligent way." but i honestly lack the same type of creativity. after idolizing tim burton for so long i began to think about how my designs make too much sense. and now that i've started attempting to separate from tim, i can finally say that i dont need to imitate other people to consider myself talented. everybody has their own style of whatever, and its taken me a long time to realize that every time i see something i like, i dont have to recreate it as if it was my own. todays world is in need of originality in entertainment, one cant watch tv without seeing a reference or parody to something else. so to set myself apart i need to practice on myself even more then before. well, im honestly talking crazy now. even i can see that. you might want to disgregard all that. oh yeah, the cheshire cat is my favorite character. Oh my. He went through the can-opener door instead of the time machine (that's a Spongebob reference you parody-loving wad of insanity).
That tree has hues of nightmarish blue. Which doubtlessly make transparent bits of the cat all-the-more ... transparenty. But its especially neat that the wrapping stripes about him make his roundness bouncy. Like a slinky. I can totally see him slinking down the tree trunk in a maddening silence, `o course. OF COURSE. |
